1. Focus on Requirements:
The initial phase in the Six Sigma process is to understand the definition of quality from the customers’ point of view. Every customer has a different definition of quality. A good business is the one that measures quality in a more similar way its customers do.
2. Identify the variation in the process:
One can only identify the root cause of the variation if he understands the process very well. The understanding of the process must come from deep, experimental, and extensive sources. 3. Eliminate the variations:

4. Include a variety of people in your team:
Six Sigma is founded based on good teams. The good teams include peoples who take responsibility for the Six Sigma processes. The people should be from different levels of management and process. The variety of backgrounds helps a lot in identifying the variations.
5. Be flexible and thorough:
Six Sigma requires composure, adaptability, and flexibility. The positive changes need to be acknowledged by the upper business management system. One way to do it is by making the benefits of six sigma clearer to all levels of employees. This will not just motivate the employees but will also make the changes more acceptable.
